Physical Traits
Thralls are extremely prone to mutation as a result of the experimental processes used to create the species. Some mutations are harmful, some neutral helpful. These are some of the named physical traits.

Wildtype | Thrall has a very heavyset, animalistic major form, and is more comfortable walking on four legs. Home form is usually very far from human normal. | Uncommon |
Viper | Individual without any spines, and usually small, smooth scutes. | Uncommon |
Hair / Mane | Some remaining human hair is present in major form. In some circumstances can extend partially down the spine (mane). | Uncommon |
Crown | Spines fuse into intricate, distorted structures | Rare |
Knife | Scythe claws straight and blade-like | Rare |
Scutes | Spine overgrowth on or under the skin give the appearance of thick, plate-like scales on limited areas of the body. Usually localised to areas where spines are normally present like head, neck and shoulders. | Rare |
Chimera | Formed from a fusion of 2 or more embryos. The primary individual controls the body, however many perceive the voice or thoughts of the absorbed twin. | Ultra-rare |
Deathshead | Noticeably skull-like form of the head. Diminished muzzle in major form, deep eye sockets. Deathshead thralls are considered to be good luck for a group. | Ultra-rare |
Scale patterns and colours (major form)
Thralls may have any color seen in Earth reptiles, including shades of grey, green, brown, red, black and white. In addition most also have a more saturated ‘flash’ colour around the gums, eyes and fingernail beds. Occasionally the colour also stains the teeth and nails themselves.

Scrap/Pied | Pigment is missing in large areas all over the body. Eyes may be pink or light blue. | Uncommon |
Witchmark | Areas of different scale color appear in veined or starbust patterns on the chest. | Rare |
Oil | Some or all of the body is covered in black scale with an irridescent sheen. | Rare |
Leucism | Skin pigmentation may have any normal pattern, but appears significantly brighter than normal, usually shades of cream or off-white. | Rare |
